Quiet Wing’s auxiliary fuel tank systems are engineered for maximum flexibility, efficiency and ease of operation. Our “Quick Change” design allows tanks to be added or removed within just a few hours, giving operators the ability to quickly adapt between payload and extended-range mission requirements. Conformal tanks are shaped to maximize fuel capacity within the available cargo space, while integration with the aircraft’s existing refueling panel makes operation seamless. Once armed, fuel transfer is fully automatic, with the system automatically stopping refueling when the tanks reach capacity. Depending on operational requirements, systems can utilize either cabin air differential pressure or pump-based fuel transfer. Each solution also incorporates Quiet Wing’s advanced, in-house designed and certified fuel quantity measurement technology, with the ability to interface directly with the aircraft’s Flight Management System (FMS).
